Welcome at La Chaume

A few kilometers from the village of Perigny sur Loire stood the former hamlet of  “Les Chaumes”. Perched on a hill it looked out over the flowing landscape of Burgundy.

The only remaining building, a farm dating back several centuries, is now called “La Chaume”. It stands on 2 hectares of land with an impressive view out over the fields to its little lake. A wood borders on one side.

La Chaume has 2 gîtes and a luxurious chambre d’hôte where you will be made very welcome.
You can relax as nowhere else. As an over-night stop to or from the south, or just for a week away from it all. Enjoying the tranquillity of the garden, reading a book, sunbathing and a freshening plunge in the swimming pool.
Marly van der Sluis will prepare for you, on request, a sumptuous dinner or a well layed out breakfast.
Foot and cycle paths (gentle hills) pass by the house. Cycles are for hire at La Chaume. You can also hire a canoe in nearby Digion and drift down the Loire river.Take a tour in the car over small country roads and explore interesting places.

Or just put your feet up and relax in the beautiful garden where each gîte has its own area with reclining chairs and garden furniture to eat "el fresco".
